Restore the Pride

Thanks to everyone who participated in our “Slide for the Pride” campaign, which raised $1500 at the Mainline Slide to refurbish the Pride! But we still have more work to do to restore our top novice boat, the Pride, to “like new” condition, including repairs to the hull and a new paint job.

The Pride is a great boat that we purchased from the University of Delaware and has served many a new rower with “pride”, but has gotten some scrapes and scratches along the way and is in need of a facelift.

You can help us restore the Pride back to a condition that our novices are proud of…

• You can “Name a Seat” for our new and improved boat! Name a seat after your family or athlete (the Collins Crew, the Jones Clan, the Doe Zoo), a business, honor a loved one (in memory of …), the sky’s the limit! There are eight seats available and two sides (port and starboard) and the cost is $250/seat per side. Names are die-cut vinyl lettering designed to withstand the rigors of rowing. To “Name-a-Seat” for the Pride, just go to our Donate section and using PayPal place a donation of $250. Please include the desired name that you want to appear on the boat. There is a field for comments on our form and the PayPal shopping cart. Just by naming all of our available seats gets us to almost 90% of our goal!
