Summer Learn-to-Row
High School Learn-to-Row
It’s never too late to start rowing!
- Rising 9th - 12th graders
- No experience necessary
- Learn the rowing stroke alongside current NRC team members
- Learn to scull (two oars each) and sweep (one oar each)
- Perfect for athletes who have never rowed before and want to discover the sport in a fun environment
Middle School Summer Camp
Try out a new sport on the water!
- Rising 6th - 8th graders
- No experience necessary
- Have fun learning and developing the fundamentals of the rowing stroke
- Learn about stretching, staying active, and working as a team
- Row alongside current NRC high school team members (most started rowing at summer camps!)
Session Information
Both summer programs are held at the NRC boathouse simultaneously, but coached separately.
Session 1: June 24 - 28
Session 2: July 15 - 19
Session 3: August 12 - 16
Monday - Friday, 9 am - 12 pm
$350 per session / $600 for both sessions*

"My daughter had a great time at your Learn to Row Camp last summer. She particularly enjoyed the fact that it was a relatively small group that hung out together. She enjoyed spending time with the experienced rowers who served as counselors as well as the time spent with coaches. That is an intimacy she's not used to with swimming, and I think it allowed her to warm up to the coaching staff quickly."
